Hollie Miller, Founder & CEO

A smiling woman with brown hair wearing a navy blue blouse with a floral pattern.

Hollie is from Southern Mississippi, where she grew up surrounded by trade workers, including most of her family.

After getting a business degree, Hollie moved to Oregon, where she worked in accounting, finance, payroll, and HR. In 2021, she started a homeless services non-profit with a friend and grew it to over 250 employees in just 3 years.

Having been a freelancer on and off herself her whole career, she was frustrated with the lack of support for self-employers and decided to do something about it. She knows first hand what a big deal it is to have access to community & benefits, and she is determined to help self-employed people get there by bringing them together in guilds.
